I got into cars and started modifying them in my garage when I was around 16yrs old and have loved cars and working on them ever since. I have owned and modified numerous cars and trucks from performance mods to aesthetics and everything in between. I went to TCC Regional Automotive Center after graduating high school where I studied automotive technology as well as taking service writer courses. I have been in customer service for over 10 years with 5 of them having been in the automotive industry. I enjoy being around cars and talking to customers about repairs and do my best to help educate them as well as make them feel comfortable with the repairs that are being recommended.

I got into working on cars because as a child I enjoyed taking everything apart and putting it back together. I enjoy spending time with my family as much as possible as they are my life and my motivation to get up every day and get done what needs to get done. I have a huge passion for making cars faster. I have an obsession with tattoos and enjoy listening to music as loud as possible. In my career as a technician, I am always pushing to be better and learn as much as possible from the people around me. I try to stay humble because I know that someone before me has done it and knows a trick or two to get the job done more efficiently or they have more knowledge than I do and I enjoy learning the knowledge from them. I also have a crazy passion for spending too much money on tools like most other people in the automotive field. My dream cars would be one of two cars, I would enjoy to one day own a split bumper Camaro with a modern LS engine in it. Or a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8. Along with a pickup truck/suv for the family.

I wrestled wild pitbulls to get my first wrench at the age of 7. I held a flashlight for my dad until I was 13. I started as a General Service Tech after school at 15. I attended NTVC for Auto body and Paint at 17 and decided that I preferred the mechanical side and started turning wrenches daily at 18. I became a Virginia State inspector at 20 and got my first ASE at 21. I started my own mobile auto repair shop at 24 and opened my first garage at 28. The rest is bit of a blur and now I am at London Bridge Auto and Transmission where I can work my magic every day!

Been turning wrenches since I got my 1966 Ford Mustang, which was 13 years ago. My dad got me into it and I have been doing it professionally for the last 10 years. I like the performance side of the automotive world. My strong point is engine repair and replacements. The more power it makes the better! You can’t find a better place to work than London Bridge Auto & Transmission Repair!

Growing up in the 757, i was always big into technology and built computers as a hobby. I graduated from Landstown High School with a scholarship to ODU for software development then got bitten by the mechanic bug. I found a passion for everything automotive and working with my hands, so I decided to start my career as technician right out of high school in 2019. Since then I’ve built myself up with plenty of tools and knowledge to be able to provide my city with quality work that will keep you safe on the road. I specialize in removing and replacing engines and transmissions and love doing it right the first time! My dream car is an extremely modified Nissan S15 from Japan.

I started taking things a part and putting them back together at the age of 8. My bicycles and radios and fans were all in pieces, spread across my bedroom floor much to my mothers’ dismay. I got into cars at the age of 12 by stealing parts and tools from a junk yard and taking stuff apart and leaving the tools out. Started officially working on cars at 15 or 16, by changing alternators and brakes and such. Got into transmissions at 17 or 18 and was pulling them out and putting them back in at my dads’ friends shop where they worked on transmissions. The builder there was older and couldn’t put the drums back together so he taught me how to do it while he played cards and looked over my shoulder. I was then recommended for a actual tech position at 19 removing and replacing transmissions. After the age of 21 I became a “swingman” which is a part time technician and a part time builder. At the age of 22 I became a fulltime builder by attending several building seminars and classes. I have been building transmissions, transfer cases, differentials and engines ever since. Over the last 30 years I have seen the evolution of the transmission and have watched it move from a 2 speed unit all the way up to 10+ speeds. My favorite thing to build is a carburetor. That was one of the first things I started on and they are enjoyable due to the simplicity of them and the smaller size.

As a kid I was always around cars between my grandfather and my dad there was always something that needed fixed and a flashlight to hold. After joining the Navy straight out of high school I had never considered what I wanted to do after my enlistment. After trying a few different career paths, I found myself in the automotive industry and I’ve been hooked ever since. I absolutely love being able to help people and change the narrative, having to fix or maintain your vehicle doesn’t have to be such a daunting and negative experience. My favorite vehicle of all time is the 1974 Volkswagen Thing.

I got my start in business at the age of 11 when I had my first paper route where I had to order and pay for the papers, assemble them, deliver them and then collect the weekly revenue. I grew the route size by never missing a day and having them delivered in the time and manner in which my customers wanted and deserved. At the age of 13 I added a second route and managed the 2 routes until I was able to obtain a work permit at the age of 16.
I worked my way through high school working for a moving truck rental company and through college by working for a construction company. I found I loved working with my hands and have a true respect and appreciation for others who do as well. After college I started doing outside sales for a marketing and advertising agency for small and medium sized businesses. For 10 years I helped businesses grow, fostered and taught many sales professionals and learned more and more about businesses, what made them successful and why they failed.
During this time, I saw a need in the auto repair industry to address the fear and trepidation that comes with many customers and their interaction with the service facilities that worked on their vehicles. I wanted to bring the skills and knowledge I had honed over the years into action by providing a trustworthy an honest repair facility that revolved around putting the customer first every time. I am a customer service aficionado who covets the olden days of true customer service where the customer is always right. In order to accomplish this goal, I had to assemble a team of the best and brightest auto repair minds that I could find. At London Bridge Auto & Transmission Repair we strive to go above and beyond to make sure that customer has the absolute, best experience possible. We have spent years building a business and staff to match this obsession and truly believe that we have one of the best teams and repair facilities in all of Virginia. I have the utmost respect for the talented individuals that choose to work at London Bridge Auto & Transmission Repair and their passion for what they do comes through in their work each and every day. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of your community and making our business one of the most highly rated businesses in Hampton Roads!
